DMCA Policy & Takedown Notice

1. Service description and hosted content

Kliplot is a download helper that, on a user's request, retrieves publicly accessible media from third-party platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, X, and similar) and streams it back to the requesting user. We do not host, store, or index that media. We do not maintain a public catalogue of downloaded files.

That said, we take rights complaints seriously. If you believe our service is being used to infringe your copyright, follow the process below and we will respond promptly.

2. Designated agent for copyright notices

Send all DMCA notices and counter-notices to our designated agent:

We respond to valid notices within 5 business days. Misuse of this address (spam, unrelated inquiries) may delay legitimate requests.

3. Required elements of a takedown notice

To be valid under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), your notice must include all of the following:

1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (e.g. title, URL of the original on Instagram/TikTok/etc., registration number if available).
3. Identification of the specific URL or content you allege is being processed infringingly through Kliplot. Generic references like "your whole site" are not actionable.
4. Your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email.
5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the rights holder.

Notices missing any of these elements are not valid DMCA notices and may not be actioned. False or bad-faith notices can expose you to liability under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).

4. What we do when we receive a valid notice

• We block the specific URL(s) identified in the notice from being processed by Kliplot so future user requests for that URL fail closed.
• Where applicable, we revoke any cached extraction tokens for the URL.
• We log the notice for repeat-infringer tracking.
• We may notify the user(s) who submitted the URL that processing was blocked due to a copyright complaint, and forward your notice (minus your contact information unless you ask us to include it) so they can submit a counter-notice if appropriate.

5. Counter-notice process

If you are a user whose request was blocked and you believe in good faith that the block resulted from a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to dmca@deepinsta.app with the subject DMCA Counter-Notice.

A valid counter-notice must include:

1. Your physical or electronic signature.
2. Identification of the URL that was blocked.
3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the URL was blocked as a result of mistake or misidentification.
4. Your name, address, and phone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if outside the U.S., the jurisdiction of the venue where Korvel operates), and that you will accept service of process from the original notice sender.

After we receive a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original complainant. Unless they notify us within 10–14 business days that they have filed a court action, we may restore access to the URL.

6. Repeat-infringer policy

Kliplot maintains a policy of terminating accounts and blocking IP addresses associated with users who are the subject of repeated valid DMCA notices. What counts as "repeated" is determined case by case, but two valid notices within a 6-month window are generally sufficient grounds for termination.

7. Other jurisdictions

We honor equivalent notice-and-action procedures under the EU DSA, the UK CDPA, Brazil's Marco Civil da Internet, and other comparable regimes. Use the same email address and subject line prefix; we will route the notice internally.

8. Trademark and other rights
