Which assistants work?+
Claude (web, desktop and Claude Code), ChatGPT with Developer mode, Cursor, VS Code and any client that supports remote MCP servers with OAuth.
Do I need to paste an API key?+
No. Claude and ChatGPT open kliplot.com so you approve the connection with your account. Coding tools can use an API key if you prefer.
What can it download?+
Public posts, reels, videos and carousels from Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest and X/Twitter that you have the right to download. Private content isn't accessible.
Does it cost extra?+
No. It's included in Pro and Enterprise and uses the same downloads as the website. Failed links don't count.
Can I disconnect it?+
Yes. Revoke the connection in Account → API & AI agents and it stops working within seconds.
